At the beginning of every new construction, there is always an idea. This idea is further developed and refined until a concrete concept exists. The interplay of room acoustics, visual design, and our sound character gives the new organ and its space an individual soul. Through collaboration with organists, organ experts, and the church community, we create a high-quality and sustainable pipe organ that will bring joy for generations to come. From the first thought to the construction on the computer to the intonation of the smallest pipe, we craft your instrument and present you with a unique work characterized by its warm and friendly sound and reliable functionality.
We also create our facade designs by hand or as photorealistic 3D models.

Totally thrilled! Touch, intonation, and execution: top marks from me! After the baptism, a lady from the baptismal party (who was only a guest today) approached me and said she had rarely heard such a beautiful organ. I am happy to pass that on! Keep it up, dear Mr. Schreier!
It is really perfect for such a village church; the small swell division allows for wonderful accompaniment, even very delicate play, and provides enough volume for a festive toccata.
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Munzingen St. Michael
For about 40 years, I have been working in Neuburg a. d. Donau and, as a part-time church musician, have come to know many organs in the city and its surroundings, including those by Schreier.
My first encounter with an organ from Thierhaupten was in 1992.
Back then, a small organ with 5 stops was built in the chapel of Neuburg Hospital, which I had the honor to play at its inauguration. I still remember being immediately impressed by the lively sound and precise action of the small organ.
Another special experience came in 2005 with the new organ in Munzingen. I was invited to play the inaugural concert, and it was a surprising experience to see the variety of sounds possible on an organ with just 13 stops. The organ itself encouraged exploration and the discovery of new tonal colors, an experience I have had with other Schreier organs over the years.

Our specialty is the construction of fully mechanical pipe organs with precisely regulated, temperature-resistant wooden action, offering an enjoyable playing experience for the organist. The constant evolution of this time-tested construction method, while preserving proven traditional mechanics, ensures a long-lasting instrument.
The trend also shows that dual-action systems, where pipes are controlled mechanically and electrically, are increasingly in demand. Since fewer organists are available, MIDI integration in organ actions has become a topic. This allows organ chorales to be played even without an active organist. With modern combination systems, almost unlimited stop combinations can be programmed and activated at the push of a button. For tech enthusiasts, these functions can even be controlled via tablet.
The future does not stop at organ building.
We are happy to advise you on electrical systems and new construction!
We set the highest quality standards for our organs. Using locally sourced wood and high-quality processing methods, we ensure a durable and fully functional instrument. During construction, we focus on resource-efficient processes and use sustainable materials and natural products. In this way, we also contribute to climate protection. This is achieved through collaboration with regional specialist companies, such as for metal pipe construction or organ electronics. We work with the following companies, among others:
Fa. Wörle/Syrgenstein (metal pipes)
Fa. Killinger/Freiberg (reed pipes)
Fa. Eisenschmid/Andechs (electronics)
Fa. Baumgartner/Neudrossenfeld (console & small parts)
